A unique and chic boutique

No matter what new technology we have developed for today's generation, the age old question still remains: "What do I wear?" Now boys, you are still going to have to depend on your half-asleep roommate or disinterested friends. But ladies the answer, for you, lies right in Andover Center.

Right off of Main Street in Andover you will find First Date Boutique. Opened by sisters Brianne and Keri in September, the store offers clothing solutions to any dating or social situation. This boutique is divided into four sections: Sunday Stroll, Just Cocktails, Soiree and Rent-a-Movie. Each section offers preppy, chic or modern styles in tops, bottoms and the ever-important accessories. Sunday Stroll showcases every-day wear and jeans, perfect for a casual date. Just Cocktails is the section for sexy tops, bottoms and mini-dresses meant for heading into Boston. Head to Soiree if you need a great outfit for a wedding or holiday party. Rent-a-Movie is meant for the comfortable night spent cuddling in cute loungewear. Favorite and classic date movies play all day on flat screen televisions to add that last touch to the fun atmosphere of the store. This boutique is also the only store in Massachusetts to carry Fortune Denim, which is very popular Japanese denim on the West Coast. There is even original fortunes sewn into the waistbands. A few of the other designers First Date carries include Ame and Lulu, Yumi Kim and People's Liberation.

This is definitely not your average clothing store. The Barrett sisters wanted to get into retail, but they did not want to be just another store, what they wanted was a fun shopping spot for girls with, most importantly, a unique feel. The North Andover natives are well equipped to handle all the success their new store can bring them: Brianne, 26, graduated from Boston University 's School of Management and Keri, 22, graduated this past Spring from Babson College with a degree in Entrepreneurial Studies and Marketing.
